The Canmore Hospital Foundation is proud and honoured to be one of the beneficiaries of the Annual René J. Carignan Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Wayco Electric.

Held in memory of René Carignan, this long-running community event brings together friends, family, colleagues, and supporters for a memorable day of golf, connection, and giving back. Proceeds from the tournament support Bow Valley Palliative Care, Canmore Hospital Foundation, and Canmore Junior Golf.

Each year, the tournament honours René's legacy while helping strengthen organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Bow Valley residents. From supporting local healthcare and compassionate end-of-life care to creating opportunities for young golfers, the impact of this event extends throughout our community.

Tournament organizers are expecting another fantastic turnout this year, with a maximum of 144 golfers participating in a Texas Scramble format. More than a fundraiser, the event is an opportunity to connect, reconnect, and celebrate the community spirit that René embodied.
